Full stack Developer/Développeur full stack
Next.js + Laravel · Remote, on-site, or hybrid
About the role
You'll take real ownership of features, from backend logic to the user-facing interface, working closely with a small, fast-moving team where your decisions actually ship to production.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain scalable backend services with Laravel and MySQL
- Develop modern, performant frontend interfaces with Next.js
- Design clean REST APIs and integrate them with external services
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar) as part of your daily workflow, not as an afterthought, to move faster, write better code, and solve problems more efficiently
- Take ownership of features end to end: design, development, deployment
- Collaborate on code reviews, architecture decisions, and technical planning
- Write clean, documented, maintainable code
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development
- A football fan, with real knowledge of the major tournaments and competitions
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js and React
- Strong hands-on experience with Laravel and PHP
- Solid knowledge of MySQL, including query optimization and schema design
- Genuine, practical experience using AI tools in your daily development work. This isn't optional for us
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your work
- Good communication skills, able to explain technical decisions clearly, in English and French
- Problem-solving mindset: you ask questions and propose better solutions rather than executing blindly
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, Pusher)
- Experience building SEO-optimized, server-side rendered applications
